Re: I don't think Issac would approve of

This sweater reminds me of women who justify their QVC purchases by stating they are getting brand new merchandise unlike all the nasty garments in brick and mortar that have been tried on over and over again.  Ha!

I would not accept something that requires me to do all kinds of work just to make it wearable.  I urge you to return the sweater on QVC's dime.  By keeping it you are enabling them to set a very low bar.

@shopped out I'd be upset, too. I buy a lot of Isaac's clothing and it comes packaged in a pristine manner. It's weird how it is so wrinkled around the bottom and not the top. Does it "smell" as if it's been worn? Sorry to be so gross, but I always smell stuff that I find suspect. Smiley Sad

@pattypeep

I have bought a lot of Isaac's fashions and love them.  I agree they are always packaged well and are of high quality.  However a lot of the time the item has that chemical smell and label clearly says "made in China."  Once I know it fits, I wash it immediately in cold water alone in the washer, then either dry it in the dryer or on a hanger.  The smell disappears completely.

Re: I don't think Issac would approve of

i had two very wrinkled linea jackets delivered almost a year ago that were a wrinkled mess. they really needed professional pressing. i did not want to have to return them.  i showed them to my dry cleaner. they told me it would be $7 to press each of them. i called qvc and they gave me a $15 merchandise credit to use to compensate for the service needed.

it wont hurt to call them and see what they can do if you want to keep the item.

@shopped out@I agree with everyone who said to send it back.That looks terrible like someone stuffed it into a donation bag and then decided to return it instead.

I once received a skirt from QVC that was in obviously used condition. I called Customer service - sent them a picture and they discounted the item significantly. I then washed & dried it and had a beautiful new skirt at a great discount.

@Group 5 minus 1, that was my thought, wrinkled from the bottom when a person is sitting down. Hope I'm wrong and it just got badly wrinkled in transit.

Absolutely unacceptable and I would not accept it. I would think with paying the prices here along with shipping that the items would be received in much better condition.

I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon and Kohls for the grandkids and occasionally myself and the items are well packed and presented. Yes things are folded to ship but not buncheed up. I buy dress slacks for work often online as the smaller sizes are not often in the store and yes, they have a few wrinkles from where tehy folde d thm..  which is expected..

For $50 a would expect a better level of packing. I would post that picture on their Facebok page - if thy have one.

I would not accept it..nor should you pay for returning it. Nor should you have to do any steaming etc other than under normal conditions.

Looks like a return to me.  I learned on these boards, and I have found it to be true, that if the white label on the clear plastic bag is a large square, the item is a return.  If it is the smaller rectangular label, it is new.

Any time I receive something that is a bit off, it generally has one of those large square labels on the plastic bag.
