At McClintock's near Pismo Beach, while my boyfriend was attending Cal Poly SLO, I tried turkey nuts. Once.

Re: I ate my first and last fried pickle

My daughter loves fried pickles!

I finally tried them about a month ago and they were okay.  If they were on the table I would eat them again but not sure I would go out of my way for them.

My been there, done that was Escargot.  It was like eating a little black rubber ball that had been marinated and infused with garlic.

Re: I ate my first and last fried pickle

I like them once in a blue moon, but am picky about where I get them.  O'Charleys fried pickles are way better than an order of fried pickles from Captain D's, for instance, and therein lies the difference.

Could be, Ashleigh!  I don't ever stick around long enough to ask any questions about the little monsters.  Smiley Very Happy
