Years ago one of my best friends needed a new car and never had a brand new one. She made a major production out of choosing one, even going to AAA for "car buying counseling". She finally decided on a beautiful blue colored Plymouth Duster. It was ordered from the factory.
She and all of us friends were beside ourselves with excitement as the weeks went by. Finally, with less than a week left, she got a call from the dealership saying the train had been in an accident and her car had fallen off as was smashed to smitherines. What a let down!
@Mz iMac I'm sure you'll have better luck. It's a beautiful car. Like everyone else, I love the color.

When I was "dealership" shopping, I took the S.O. & my brother when he was visiting me. What an eye opener. Car buying is not what it use to be 10 yrs ago.
Right before I ended up at the dealership where I got my car, I went to both AAA & AARP office for "tips." Even my car insurance rep a male gave me tips when I was trying to get an ins quote for the new car. LOL
I was so confident, that I went the the Ford dealership by myself. Luckily, the negotiations went very smoothly at a no pressure, no hassle dealership. This particular dealership was highly recommended by TrueCar & Edmonds.
Now about what happened to your friends factory ordered car, that thought also crossed my mind. What if???????? You gonna replace it w/a bananna yellow convertable Mustang? Reason why I am keeping both my fingers & toes crossed.
Did the factory make it right w/your friend?

You got it!!!!!! Exactly why I picked the color!
Why don't you call the car Tiffany?
Two of my neighbors & a SIL named their car(s) Tiffany.

@Mz iMac I don't remember exactly what happened but she did drive a blue Plymouth for years. Well collectively cross our fingers.
I've bought my last 3 cars alone with no male assistance.
