I just got this in my in-box.
A sheriff's deputy and seven other people were shot dead overnight in southern Mississippi, authorities said Sunday.
The slain officer was identified as Lincoln County sheriff's deputy William Durr, 36, according to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.
The MBI said the shootings started around 11:30 p.m. at an address in Bogue Chitto, where the deputy and three females were found dead.
Another crime scene was found in Brookhaven, where the bodies of two boys were found. A third crime scene is at another address, where a man and a woman were found dead.
So sad!
Prayers to all!

Family/domestic situation; more and more common- more and more deadly.
May all who are suffering find peace.

The murderer is clearly mentally unstable. I'm wondering why he was allowed to have weapons.
This is what happens when anyone can access firearms. Recently, a law that prevented disabled folk who need a guardian to handle their Social Security payment from owning a weapon, was abolished. Not very smart.
