The elastic has to be very thin on the mask to be able to be inserted into the adjuster clip

For a while there crochet and knitting sites were overrun with patterns for an oblong piece with 2 buttons on it to wear at the back of the head to make the mask tighter. My masks all fit and don't need to be tighter.

I just tie a knot in the mask, either ear loops or behind-the-head loops.
