Yes I do feel stuck on hold. I do also sometimes feel like many people are walking around on autopilot. I find in myself that I have feelings I haven't felt for many many years and they're not good. I don't stay there but those awful thoughts pop in my head and I feel miserable for a moment.

along with everyone else.  It seems like we are all walking zombies, at least for this year.  I look out the window at all the delivery trucks moving down the street and the lawn mowing guys coming and thinking we are all moving zombies.

Have you ever known a time in our US history when we were so stuck?

@KarenQVC

I do not feel like a zombie.  I am still alive.   Taking life one day at a time.
Covid-19 has not taken you or me yet.  Or other posters here.

Have faith.
You are not alone.

And take comfort knowing  you will never walk alone.

Stay safe. Stay home.

Sorry to hear that. I hope that your two pets, Lily and Lola make you feel better.

I was more stuck when it was still cold out and everything was closed.  I've been getting out with friends to eat outdoors almost every week and it helps me so much mentally.

One thing I feel stuck about is my diet...now that it's hot & humid I have a never ending craving for ice cream and water ice.  There's too many good places around here for that.

I guess I mean the country as a whole has shown so little energy to change things.  We are losing 1,000 people per day for no good reason--total over 150,000.

We lost about 400,000 in WW2, but we certainly gave it a fight.  And there was a reason.

I certainly have no assurance this 150,000 number might not double given our lackluster response.

I see massive energy and momentum to change things. We can fix all of this.

There are the lastest stats as of Aug. 4 regarding deaths in the last 7 days.  Souces are NBC news and state officials. There were no political sidebars but I didn't want to chance a link.

We are living through an interesting time.

I am confident some good will emerge.  Goodness and innovation always emerge in a crisis.

I am hopeful that parents will be more proactive in their children's education.  Distance learning, or homeschool, is being investigated by millions of parents who are reluctant to send their children back to traditional educational facilities.

I think that's wonderful.  Our schools are scelrotic and have not kept up with the times, through no fault of the wonderful teachers who sacrifice for their pupils.

Working from home is creating new opportunities for families.

I'm actually very hopeful that we will emerge from this virus stronger than ever.

Keep the faith and stay safe.
