The.skiers, snowmobiles and ice fishing thrives. They LOVE Businesses like Motels, restaurants, coffee shops, bait stores, taverns, bike/ski shops etc. depend on snow and cold. Last year was mild and little snow and all we heard was complaining. 

 

There is an International  Birkenbeiner Ski race in February that managed to occur last year. Shortened and cancelled once. Many come in ski and leave. The International skiers help businesses. Will be a good snow base and it is maintaining .

 

I'd rather be a SnowBird but some  LOVE Winter. Summers are devine. Humidity tolerable, many homes don't have air. Nights usually cool. Can't wait...
