Love the Snoopy picture!  I feel sympathy for those of you who have such heat all the time but the rest of us get very few nice days and so we cherich them and are in no hurry for summer to end and fall to arrive and then winter quickly thereafter!

While I'm not one to wish my remaining days on earth away, I'll welcome fall! The hot, hot, hot days of summer seem to wear me out so quickly nowadays. Yesterday was the first day in probably a month where I didn't get extreme heat messages on my phone. When I walked outside last evening, I noticed a definite change in the air. This morning, it was a degree or two cooler outside than in! Yes, Welcome Fall! I'm ready.

@Kachina624  We've had a brutal summer in SE PA. Finally got some much needed rain in August, And lo and behold, we're getting fall temps this week! 85 druing the day, but cool in mornings and evenings. Mid 50's to low 60's. Such a pleasure to tend the patio plants in the cool weather! DH keeps saying "Don't get used to it." (He's probably right.)

I like 70's, whatever the season is.  Hate the humidity.

@SharkE

All summer I keep a light color throw or sweater in each of our cars to keep the seat " comfortable " until I get back from AC stores.   It also helps when I wear black or dark slacks and DH is driving down to the shore....a long ride with the sun blasting in through the windshield...it covers my legs.

Maybe if you drape the throw over both the steering wheel and seat, it may reduce their temperature.

Would a reflective windshield screen work like the throw for you ?

Here in Pittsburgh, the night temps do the same...50's

Yesterday, it was the most beautiful weather I believe I have ever experienced in a summer
Little to no humidity and temps in the 80's.

Usually the humidity during the day here is very high!

@BalletBabe.  I know you have that humidity too.  We've had an active monsoon season when it's been very humid too.  Very unusual.  My evaporative cooling system doesn't work it's best with humidity so I'm actually thankful for dry, if hot, air.

@Kachina624   It has been more humid this year  then ever. BUT I don't have to freeze in the Winter. I just took my dog out and my clothes feel wet.  I don't ever remembering that. I have heard that we are going to have a cold Winter, but  I will believe it when I see it.
