Another scorching week in the forecast for PHX.    Mid-August is when I get cranky, and begin doubting my sanity...

@Kachina624 - I can circle the date on my calendar, send an alarm to myself, open a window AND IT STILL WON'T FEEL LIKE FALL - here in SC. 

I'm so over the heat/humidity this summer. Thanks for the reminder though - riley1

Been in Florida all my life and I don't remember it staying in the 80s at night!  We have had a brutal summer!

Be sure and let me know when Fall gets here......in Florida we don't see it!  Hot or cold!

@Zhills.  Every summer gets hotter and longer.  We used to start cooling off mid-September, now it's  mid-October.  We break all kinds of temperature records.

I try and think of the Chicago Blizzard of '67...which was ONE of the reasons I left.   (The "other" was -24 cold....)

In Arizona it's 100 by 9 am and still over 100 until 9 pm. So ready for anything cooler.

Isn't it funny?

I spent my adult life in Texas and now feel as if I could never give up the beautiful change of seasons here in Pittsburgh...I'm enthralled!

Just this morning I had an appointment in Mt. Lebanon 

what a beautiful drive! And I always enjoy it!

However, I don't drive from here to there in the ice and snow!

@LTT1   You enjoy LOL    I was born to be a tropical Gal.  I was always cold and I hated that.  I hated driving in the snow.   I could never get used to it.
