I confess that I've taken too much for granted in this life. The main thing is my health. In the last year it has been one thing after another . I won't go into detail, we all have our problems and you don't need to hear mine. It's just that after a long run of  good luck I've hit a wall.In addition it's one thing after another with the house and frankly I'm over it. This morning with the nose bleed that I posted about,  it just seemed like what next ?  I know in many ways I've been fortunate, and this year has humbled me. Last month I turned 77 and I feel every year of it. The good news is I'm a stubborn Taurus  and while the blood was in fact pouring out of my nose, I sat with a box of tissues and paper towels  and did my word games on the IPad.  Anyway, if you read this and can identify or not , I appreciate you. 🌷

@QVCkitty1 I understand and I appreciate you too.  It is very easy to take our health for granted. Sometimes in life we just have those "when it rains it pours" times.  I am having one of those too.  I was a competitive swimmer for many years in my youth and have always been very active.  It seems that after I turned 60 (63 now), my days in the pool and the gym have come to haunt me.  I have neck issues and need shoulder surgery and I am not able to do what I used to do.  But I do what I can.  I try to be grateful and mindful that my problems are minimal compared to so many others.  I am still hoping to get back in the pool at some point.  Best of luck to you.

@QVCkitty1 I forgot to mention that the Daniel Patrick Moynihan quote you use is one of my favorites.  I have used it many times.

It's important to allow yourself to just feel what you feel.

I could go on but...then I'd feel like I would need to delete another one of my posts.

@QVCkitty1  I get it with your nose bleed!  I have one about every 7-10 days.  Has been going on for years.  No one knows why.  Went to a new ENT 3 weeks she said to use Afrin on a cotton ball.  Have to admit it stops the bleeding for that moment!  It's very unsettling.... trust me.

@Seminole2 Has your doctor ever talked to you about cauterization? My SO had this problem and ever since the procedure (several years ago) he has had zero recurrence.

My social life for awhile has been going to the doctor, blood work and different scans. Then throw in the dentist. I know how you feel.

Thanks, but I'm not counting on it  !
