It hasn't been cold enough long enough to need it, but I have a small portable humidifier for the bedroom too. Did you know you can buy nasal moisturizers? It really works.

@monicakm I have a regular saline nasal spray but I also recently purchased AYR saline gel nasal spray. It seems to stay in place better than quickly dripping out.
Anyway DH worked on our house humidifier and the reading is now up to 33% from 26 which does make a big difference!

Well, there really is a way to change if you wanted to.
A humidifier wouldn't make a dent in single-digit humidity.
We get very dry weather here, too. It can get in the single digits for many days.
Using a humidifier works for my house. I actually use two Air Innovations top-fill humidifiers in my house when the humidity gets really low and that does work to bring the humidity up to where it's comfortable. I couldn't survive in extreme dry conditions like where you live. I was there in the spring one year long ago. It wasn't too bad then but I can imagine it getting much drier.
