I won't get a flu shot or use the Derma roller either. {#emotions_dlg.lol}

Now the Tria interests me {#emotions_dlg.crying}

Is that the hair remover thing?

I am still going to eventually try the NoNo hair remover.

I hear the commercials for the NoNo all the time. Does it pull the hair out? I won't use that.

A friend of mine laser hair removal on her legs. She never has to shave again. It took a few years, but she is so happy.

No it doesn't. It's not like an Emjoi. It's thermicon technology so basically I think it burns the hair off at the root. When they present it they say you will smell burning hair and a warm sensation but it doesn't hurt. It's approved to use on the face and body.

People seem to either absolutely love it or hate it.

If you try it, let me know what you think of it.

You guys get the flu just once and you will put up with the shot next year, I guarantee it.

I hate being sick and it's been since 2010 that I had the flu....no shot back then either BUT you do have a point. I hate that achy nauseated feeling that puts you in bed for a couple days. So, if I get it again I may get the shot next year. So far, so good though.

ITA!!!!

You'll feel like you are dying. It is even more serious this year with swine flu out there. People have died from it. A little sore arm is worth it compared to the the other option.

ETA: It's not too late to get it and I would if I didn't already.

I get the shot every year now, and I don't see what the big deal is. The needle hurts minimally and momentarily, and the next day the arm feels a little bruised. Then it's fine. That flu has killed a few people in my state, and i assume other states as well. I think I can stand a needle for a few seconds. I have controlled asthma and I have had pneumonia in my youth. I don't want to take any chances if I can possibly help it.

I agree!

I think people are convinced it gives them the flu. {#emotions_dlg.confused1}{#emotions_dlg.confused1}

My decision not to get the shot has nothing to do with the needle. I have gotten shots before as well as getting my blood drawn and hardly felt it. If I was chronically ill, yes I would get it.

Last time I had a flu shot, yes, I did mention on the boards that it hurt going into my muscle and my arm continued to hurt for days on end. That was the first and only time though that happened....why, I have no idea. They now offer flu shots that are placed under the skin as opposed to intramuscular and I'd opt for that. So, when I'm ready I will get one.

I had the flu when I was 25 and I thought I might die. Couldn't get out of bed for days, had to have help to even get to the bathroom.

Haven't had it since and I don't get a flu shot.
