Re: How much do celebrities influence your buying?

I tried Aveeno's line since JA bought it and I've watched Cindy Crawford's skincare commercial.  Many vendors from Qvc have become famous people and are considered celebrities like Mally, Jaime and Chaz Dean.  They all have influenced me into buying. I've taken a look at Jessica Alba's product line on her Honest website.  I've tried Ellen's pet food - animals wouldn't eat it but they're fussy anyway.  I've tried Jessica Simpson's handbags and they were cheap and I returned.  Christie Brinkley is coming out with a skincare line and I'll probably take a look at that.

absolutely none, not ever...actually I try to either change the channel or hit mute whenever I see one started...my husband always says "they must be running out of money"  😊

Not one bit. In fact, when a celebrity is involved, I figure they need extra cash, so I don't even listen.

I could not care less what a celebrity thinks of a product...or anything else for that matter.   They are just another person with an opinion, in a world full of billions of people with opinions.

I did buy a Martha Stewart Christmas tree 2 years ago...BUT it wasn't because of her name at all---it was because the tree was the right height 7.5, it was very full, it had the in pole technology, and the ability to change the color of lights to either clear or multi---so in other words it had all the features I liked and that was the reason I bought it.....the others werent as nice or lacked some of the features....

@Spurt. LOL.  I have a Martha tree too.  I bought it because it was on sale.  I bought Kardashian hair products on zulily because of what's in them.  Love them.

zero...they are typically paid to endorse product(s) .. so IMO any reveiw or recommendation by them should be taken with a grain of salt.
