Negatively, yes. Positively, not at all. Like some other posters have noted, I suspect hiring a celebrity spokesperson adds cost. I take no notice of endorsements.

Personally, i would do the opposite of what a "celebrity" would do. I hold them to low regard and find most of them reprehensible.
Its not exactly the days of Audry Hepburn.

Not sure if it’s the ad or the celebrity or a combination that can influence me. I know I’m dating myself but years ago, Paul Harvey (who has since passed away), used to advertise constantly on his show for the Schwinn Air Dyne exercise bike. He made it sound so good that I bought one. I enjoyed it for many years but recently gave it away.
