I don't think I'd want an inside out umbrella.  I love my Totes umbrella.  I just leave it open in my garage until it dries.

Well before QVC started offering these, a more expensive (and probably better made) similar umbrellawas being advertised online and I watched the videos on it.

The idea sounds good, and if it works perfectly every time (and the person is able to use it deftly and quickly every time) it would be good for getting in and out of your car; other than that I don't see how it's hugely better. And if you weren't quick with it or were a bit clumsy with it you'd get just as wet as ever and/or pour all that water onto your lap, your feet, the seat, your purse, etc. I decided No at that time.

These days I just wear a coat with a hood, and stay mostly dry getting in and out; I save umbrellas for walking distances.

That's my feeling.  Dumping an umbrella full of water all over myself is more likely than safely tilting it somewhere appropriate at the right time.  No thanks.

my umbrella is wonderful today. having super heavy rain today. it kept me somewhat dry on my walk this morning.
