How long does it take to process an exchange?

I am not sure what topic to place this under, but it is nearly a month since I returned 2 dresses to exchange for a smaller size. I still do not have the replacment dresses. I do think part of the problem is parcel post at the US Post Office. It took a week (or it may hve been 10 days) to get to Coppell, TX which is a 3 hour drive from where I live. The package then had to travel to PA. Ridiculous! The package has now been received by QVC and a label has been printed for my exchange as of May 2. Today is the May 7, and it does not appear my replcement dresses have traveled anywhere thus far. The next time I want to exchange an item I will order it online and not wait for my return to be processed. At this rate the dresses will be out of season and style when I receive them!
