Re: How do you celebrate St. Paddy's Day?

I've written about Dewi Sant, his day and his country, numerous times on Viewpoints, including on this line Smile

I'm not Irish, but I'm thinking that most of us are related, going 'way back'. Still can't figure out how folks intermingled/migrated way back when, when there weren't any airplanes or ships. Wow! 'Anyhow', I wear green! Happy St. Patrick's Day!! And I think I'll do some research and learn about St. Patrick, too.

ROMARY -

Here's the recipe we used this year. It's from King Arthur and uses measurements most of us are used to. You make them in a skillet, a few at a time if necessary. You can eat them plain or, just before eating, top one with butter or sugar or jam. Eat warm or cool.

When we were younger we went to the Irish Pub for dinner, but now, after many moves away from that great pub, I just wear green.

It's not a real holiday, We aren't of Irish descent. So, I don't celebrate the day at all. I did make cookies or cupcakes for the girls when they were little.
