I love it @Kachina624 .  I'd rather be around a bunch of dogs than unruly children.

Not all establishments are age appropriate for children.

Not all establishments are appropriate for dogs/pets.

Not all establishments are appropriate for both children and dogs/pets together.

Obviously true service dogs are the exception.

I have seen a dog urinate on a shelf of food and I have seen children open snacks, grab a handful and then dump the rest on the floor.

Your dog may be your child but it is not everyone's child.

Unfortunately there will be unruly children and dogs but that is perspective.

Whether one finds this sign abusive or not or funny or not is an individual perspective. No judgement here. Just control them because everyone should be comfortable whether dining or shopping.

Re: How Would You Feel About This?

I learned here years ago that many do not care to be around children and view them as a nuisance and inconvenience.

That is too bad as you can find such joy interacting with them.

I find it very sad when someone says "brat children."

I'm sure it's all in fun but I wouldn't go to a restaurant with dogs inside.

@Mersha  I was going to comment on the "brat children" remark but I am not in the mood to be lectured about it. I found it sad as well.

Re: How Would You Feel About This?

What are we teaching our children if we become upset by a sign. If those parents scare me, can you imagine how their children feel? Think about it…😔
