My husband and I went to see Me Before You at the movies and out to eat. Then we went to the cemetery to my parents grave.

 

My 30 some year old children were with their dad. (My husband is my 2nd husband and we got married 9 years ago and my kids are older so they don't call my husband dad, they call him by his first name and my husband never had kids of his own). My husband also told them long ago to focus on their dad on Fathers Day and don't worry about him that day. (Of course they love my husband and still send him a card anyway).

 

Anyway- I'm glad you had a nice Fathers Day.

 

I was sad, I miss my dad terribly. But I tried to make the best of the day (and it was nice my husband took me the a chick flick, because I know he didn't like the movie as much as me).
