Re: How To Opt Out of facebook Customized Ads

I quit Facebook some time back. One reason WAS the intrusive ad stuff and the more you would go through and delete stuff, the more you got so I gave up.

I'm glad it's changing where you can get rid of that stuff! Smiley Happy

Hi, chickenbutt! These tips will help when using the Internet, even without Facebook.

tansy, I'm glad you tried DDG. I think you'll like it, and the level of privacy is pretty attractive.

When I clicked on the link I got this message:

I had to laugh because blocking 3rd party cookies also prevents ads and web sites following you with ads on items you may have looked at at their website.

{#emotions_dlg.laugh}I know! It seems counter intuitive, doesn't it? But they need the access in order to opt out for you. It's a safe website, and a good service.
