Re: How Much is gas where you live?

[ Edited ]

I live in central PA. I paid $3.90 a gallon on Thursday because the place had just opened up and wanted to encourage business.  It's about $4.19 in town.

ETA @qvcaddition , Good for you for eating healthier! That's not always easy.  For me, the challenge is to cut out sugar. I find it makes a world of difference in my joint soreness.  Soreness is almost all gone when I have only a little sugar a day.

Not just gasoline, but also natural gas at least where I live.  My electric bill was over $800 a couple of months ago, over $700 last month.  We don't live in a mansion.

You are so right.  Same with my old joints. Not easy, but feel so much better.

OMG.  SO so sorry.  I would never make it.  I use a lot of candles at night. Not the real ones.  My gas bill was 100.00, but electric 26+.  I use to have TV on all day if I was home, not watching, just background. Sometimes  two.  Now, just while eating breakfast or dinner. I live alone.

I use a treadmill, but unplug it after.  My house only 1300 sq. ft.  I unplug everything I can,

I hope you can get some relief.  Families are suffering all over. Terrible.

On the news this morning the best price is $4.29 in Reno.  So glad i do not commute.  I feel sorry for people who do.  These prices can put a big dent in your budget.

Re: How Much is gas where you live?

Gas prices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania hit all-time highs over the weekend amid tight worldwide oil supplies and increased demand as the industry feels the effects of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, analysts said.

AAA Mid-Atlantic reports that Sunday's average gas price in New Jersey hit $4.09 a gallon, breaking the old record of $3.99 set on July 8, 2008. The price is up 44 cents in the last week, 60 cents in the last month and $1.22 higher than a year ago, the company said.

The Pennsylvania gas price average reached $4.17 per gallon Sunday, setting a new record high price for the region after breaking a 14-year record high Saturday, AAA said. The five-county Philadelphia area gas price average topped $4.22 per gallon, breaking the old record of $4.15 set on June 20, 2008, AAA said. Sunday's average price in Pittsburgh topped $4.15 per gallon, also rising even higher a day after breaking a record set in June 2008.

Re: How Much is gas where you live?

I think we should get ready for a lot more pain at the pumps if/when there are no more Russian gas imports ( looks likely). Remember the greater good and think of your parents/ grandparents who went through gas, food and clothing rationing, particularly in WWII; all for the greater good.
