The average outside of Atlanta (Snellville) is about $3.75.

Saw something yesterday where it was said that some strange people were drilling holes in the gas tank (going under the vehicle to do this) putting a bucket and draining the gas tank. Wow!!

One owner said he tried to start his car and it wouldn't start because the tank was empty even though he filled his tank the day before.  It costs him a few thousand dollars to fix it.

They are saying it's because of the price of gas why this is been done. A few of the thieves were caught on camera.

@Sage04 - WSB reported that they caught that guy.  Bizarre stuff.

I reported yesterday that this past Tuesday I went to Costco to fill up and I paid $4.53 for 87 octane.

This morning I went to the same Costco,  and the price had jumped to $4.98. That's a 45 cent jump in five days.

$4.10 here in Vermont.  I only put $20 in as I can only give them what I can afford.  I don't travel miles and miles a day now.

Re: How Much is gas where you live?

I took a short drive this afternoon to check the prices around me (north metro Atlanta). I passed several stations, 10 maybe.  Lowest price I saw was $3.85 and the highest was $4.19.

I paid 4.65 at Costco one week ago.  Sonoma county.  My son paid 5.85, not at Costco.

I only put in 30 to 40. dollars for the month.  I am elderly and don't drive that much.  The month I don't have to travel 40 miles for an appt   This month I will use it all up.

I don't know what people with families will do.  I have such a tight budget, I don't know what I am going to do.

I have cut out a lot of groceries that were not necessary, like goodies. Just get what I need and cook alot and freeze the food, because there is just me.  I am back to the budget days of when I was a single mom with three children working 3 jobs and budgeting very tight. The bright side is, I am losing the covid weight, without the goodies and I feel better.
