Apparently for a really long time. I have been accused of being several different posters. Lol, get a life!

I think I started posting here in 1999 or maybe early 2000. My father was very ill with Alzheimer's and I watched a lot of TV with him during the 90s. He died in 2000.

My time with dad led to my discovery of QVC as we watched TV together, and then to my becoming addicted to the overnight shows on there. (I had the night shift.)

Posters I remember fondly: DrListen, jodync, catnip, lessnans, zacca, bairn, beannienutz (Mary) and her mom, and Aunt Bertie (those last three died a few years ago).

Weirdest poster award would be a competitive category: Samira was more mean than weird, but her alternate nic "FrankE." was both weird AND mean.

Who was the teacher in Houston who was so intelligent, esp. on the political threads? (Teacher was in her name, but it wasn't teacherteacher.) When the political viewpoints forum was closed she started her own for a while.

I left for almost two years because of the threads following Katrina. Some threads allowed to stand for days were absolutely intolerable.

My memory of 9/11 is that for the most part the BB came together and that there were some very moving threads at that time. (But I wasn't on that much and probably missed some bad threads?)

People often assume they know who another poster is and as far as I know, all they can do is guess.....and they could be wrong and hurt someone........so what exactly must a new poster do to be welcome?

Imo people who waste their time accusing, assuming, and guessing must be awfully bored because I have better things to do with mine. Get a life!

Wow, it's been about 7 years for me. I can't believe it's been that long, but it was 2007 when I first started posting. Then stopped for a while and came back.

Geez, what great memories you all have. I can't remember what happened on Monday let alone posters from years ago. I think it's great that you do remember, it makes it interesting.

I started posting shortly after they created shoptalk. I found out about it from watcging qvc. Lots of changes over the years. It wasn't realy monitored at the beginning. Sometimes i would open it up and their were so many nasty stuff being posted that i stayed on the jewelry and fashion boards for the most part. It has changed a lot and with the exception of a few posters i have enjoyed it very mch.

I remember lots of things.

I have to note that I really dislike the finger pointing and vague accusations-- all they do is start trouble.
