It's a slow day at work so I started reading some of the topics on the Forums. I usually just read what the topic is about and pay no attention to who posted. But, today I was paying attention to the posters and how many posts they have. Quite a few people have been here a long time with a lot of posts.

Does anyone know when this Forum was started? I joined in 2007 but did not become active until about a year ago. Now that I'm paying more attention it is interesting to learn the personalities of the posters and their thoughts on different subjects. In addition, I've picked up some good information along the way.

I usually check in once a day, look over the first page of threads and then go to Viewpoints. I wonder who the oldest poster is? (Not by age, by length of time on the Forum.)

I started July 2001.

I did see a chatroom-type board on QVC before that. I was able to read what was written but I didn't know how to join in the chat. I just read and although I tried to post, it didn't work for me. Does anyone remember that?

About a year and a half posting. But, I talk a lot and like to post sillies. I think I read for a couple of years before I started.
