It had been in the 90s, but it's been raining and flooding all week which has dropped us into the lower 80s and high 70s.
I spent all day Tuesday and Wednesday in a training with a woman from France who was headed to our Phoenix office last night to spend today and tomorrow training there. Someone told her how hot it was going to be and I converted to Celcius for her and she nearly fell over. And after that, it wound up being even hotter than predicted.
My parents live in the San Francisco East Bay and it's usually in the 70s and 80s there right now, but today it was 93. I feel badly for them, because they don't have AC. My dad bought a portable window unit, but they don't have central AC. At least it still drops into the 50s in the overnight. Here in Austin when it's 93, it drops into the 70s around 3am and is already 74+ and rising by the time I leave for work. Lately it's been 74 degrees and 99% humidity when I leave every morning, which is super gross.
