He is the most adorable kid I ever saw....so sweet and deep for a child...

I saw it and, at first, thought it was kind of cute and deep. But, later it struck me that it was over the top for a small child. It may just be cute, but I wonder if there isn't some underlying emotional or other issue - the beginnings of severe OCD perhaps?

I find the whole thing tragic............there is something very wrong with that little guy.............and gawd forbid the mother quit filming and comfort him.........................................raven

I can only feel for this little guy. He is clearly suffering. I think his Mother should be trying to calm his fears and direct his concerns in a positive way rather than encouraging him to be so upset. Looks like someone is trying to get a lot of followeers on some internet site. Sorry I can't agree with the OP.

So much weight for such little shoulders. Just want to hug him and tell him what Mr. Rogers always said- "Look for the people doing good." Bless you little one.

I find that sad .The poor little guy already has such misery to live with.

I am relieved to see the prevailing opinion on this -- I thought it was just me.
Children being indoctrinated, for one thing. Mother seeing a photo / You Tube opp. for another.
Edited for wonky spacing.

So very sad. He should be comforted instead of filmed. He should be more informed instead of letting it fester inside. Breaks my heart to see him hurt so much already. Time enough for that when he is an adult and does try to make a difference.

I avoided opening this thread, and now I know why I passed it by until now.
This really ticked (and that isn't the word I'm using in my mind) me off. I can't stand people indoctrinating kids on any side of any issue, and between what they are doing in the classroom about the environment and what some of these parents are doing to promote 'the sky is falling' about it, little kids are internalizing it, stressed, living in fear, and seeing the world unrealistically.
Instead of approaching any subject that one, as a parent, feels strongly about educating their child on with common sense and matter of fact steps, practices and ideas (like involving them in recycling, or turning off lights to save energy, or other real things that can make a difference, empower them to contribute to the cause, and not add stress to their lives about the issue) they expose them to excessive and frightening propaganda, and convince them that we are doomed.
Kids can learn about the world around them, become activists for a cause without the kind of stress and irrational fear this poor kid is displaying. They are being pressured at school very heavily these days about the environment, on television, in advertising, and by some parents who are very adamant and involved. They are internalizing things that are way too much for them at their age (and it isn't just environmental things, but others as well).
And mom's solution to make posters? Wait till he starts that and realizes he just killed another tree in the process, and another meltdown will be on YouTube!
I'm not sure what her agenda was for filming and posting this, but parents today don't have the brains God gave a goose. These kids have to grow up, and that is out there forever. It isn't like the old days where your folks just showed slide shows of your embarrassing moments to family when they visited on a Saturday night. This stuff is out there for the entire world to see, and as a kid, you have no say about it.
This kid is being manipulated for a cause, or at the very least has a mom that has no clue where the boundaries of today's social media and technology should be drawn when her kids are involved.
Rant off.
