Re: How Do You Use Your "Hearts" ???????

I agree about "hearting" people when their posts are great, especially if in other ways we tend to disagree.

Sometimes I heart as a "Thank You," sometimes as a hug, but usually for me it's a nod of agreement.

Re: How Do You Use Your "Hearts" ???????

i generally use the hearts as i use the LIKE button on facebook. i like what was said or how it was said without having to necessarily repeat the same in a new post. occasionally i will heart the post AND add some additional commentary if i feel it is necessary.

There seems to be different reasons why posters "heart" a post.....just wondering how you interpret the "heart" and use it.

I will "heart" a post if I agree with what the poster has posted.....regardless of who the poster is.

I am an equal opportunity "hearter"......I don't let my feelings about an individual get in the way of a post.

If what the poster is stating is right or I agree with their "viewpoint" I will "Heart"  it.

How do you determine which post you will "Heart" ??

PS.....love the opportunity to use comic sans and pink for my font.....I'm sure some of you have noticed.  LOL

I use it like an ITA!  However, this time I "hearted" you and I posted "ITA!!"

I use them rather than all the Quoting, ITA and thumbs up that we used before.  It shows I like and am in agreement with that post and nothing more to add so it saves bogging down a post with alll the quotes.

I "heart" the same way I "like"...any comments I enjoyed.

But if we can save them up and turn them in for extra easy pays - I'll hold on to mine!!!

I must have turned mine off somehow.  I went to heart a post today for the first time and don't see how to do it.  LOL

I use it to indicate that I agree when I don't have any additional comment to add.

It is more likely that the person that posted checked the do not allow hearts button to the right of the message box that shows when posting a message.

Do you see hearts on other posts?

Re: How Do You Use Your "Hearts" ???????

We all seem to be in agreement that it's like using the "Like" on Facebook and it means we agree with a post.

I got the impression before on other threads (not this thread ) that some people thought it meant you like the poster but to me it doesn't matter who the poster is it's the POST we "heart" or "like".

And for busy people it saves time because we don't need to quote a post and say ITA or thumbs up etc.

And it IS a way of giving us a bread crumb trail to threads and posts so don't forget that handy extra bonus! 😊
