Well you're doing great then! I just mentioned the gym because that's what really motivated me to keep on going. It makes me feel a lot better, too.

As for carbs, I rarely eat pasta or potatoes any more, and I haven't bought a loaf of bread in months, and I never really cared for rice.
I am eating more broccoli, though, raw.

Sadly, lately I've just been giving in. Ever since Christmas it's been a battle. The more I try to resist, the worse I get. So, I've just been trying to eat a bit less of what I am craving.

When I crave certain foods, it is usually because I haven't been paying enough attention to the food I have been eating. There is an addictive nature to certain foods and I try and avoid all fast food.

Since you love broccoli, why not roast it in a little olive oil -- that might help with the fat craving. If you must have something like a burger or fries, have a smaller amount than would normally be on your plate, then afterward, ask yourself how you feel.
The answer may be enough to avoid it for another couple weeks. If the craving returns, do it again until your rest of your mind comprehends that the appetite and the resulting feeling isn't all it's cracked up to be.

When I was single, I just wouldn't buy those snacks which cause me to binge. Now, it's a lot tougher, esp. since my husband is the type who can eat what he wants and not gain weight.
I'm going to try that tooth brushing idea.
