@SharkE .  Very nice. Picture window will look good. We have a 10' bow window in the front that needs to be replaced. We picked out the window but my husband can't find anyone he trusts to put it in! Still waiting.

Re: House make over like on TV

We're getting 3 bids, so, far like first guy I called.

He was installing windows here in the subdivision in fact he's done 2 houses on the other street and I not being shy LOL stopped and talked to

him and told him to come over to my place and give me an estimate.

Picture window, by the way, is CHEAPER then putting in casements in that dining room you can see in one of my pics. Saved like 500.

Mine are streaked with calcium , lime, whatever and with a picture window my xmas tree will be really standing out this yr. I got a stained glass piece hanging in there may have to do away with that . Have to see. Love that stained glass though !

Very pretty home @SharkE. The new window will fit nicely.

I live in Texas too and I had to put screens on the windows to block the sun. I can still see out but people can’t see in.

@SharkE .  That's great to save that money! And good idea for the Christmas tree. They always look so pretty from the outside.

Re: House make over like on TV

yeah, I never saw a sun before like a Tx sun ! If your driving East in the morning you can't see I mean you can't see. He had to buy those special sun blocking glasses and pull visor down and I hold newspaper for him from the passenger side to block as much as I can.

Sure, we had sun up in Ind. but, you don't know what sun is till you see a

Tx sun.   Orangey , fireball !

I'm gonna call my sprinkler man and see if he can turn my sprinkler heads around to quit throwing water on the windows. So much wind they will still get some I'm sure.

By the way, a tip for you. One of the installers said to use RainX on house windows sheets off water better.

@SharkE, LOVE your home. Will picture window with casement windows balance front of house? The windows now on house are beautifully balanced. Just my op. No offense. Just love your original windows.
