Home Invasion Update

So many of you were kind enough to respond to my post about a home invasion on my street, I thought I'd tell you the latest. Yesterday they struck again in another small town about an hour away. This time 2 of the 3 were shot by the homeowner, and they sought treatment at the local hospital where I used to work. They gave the Dr, a bogus story about how they were shot and were arrested after the hospital reported them.

@QVCkitty1 I missed your previous post, but I am glad that they caught those involved. I subscribe to Spot Crime.com for weekly updates on my area. While we rarely have a problem in our neighborhood, it is quite an eye-opener when I read about crimes in other areas. Another thing to worry about if considering moving.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

@QVCkitty1 Thanks for the update. I am happy that the bad guys got shot.

I am another who has always kept all my doors locked.

In nice weather I'd love to have the front door open as I have a screen door but I just won't chance it.

I can, however, open my patio slider for awhile as my back yard is well gated, with a high fence and locked.

I’ll bet the two that were arrested will give up the third person’s name. You know the police can outwit these two numbskulls to get a name out of them.

@QVCkitty1 I'm so thankful for the update! I've thought often of that poor elderly lady that was victimized during the last invasion, and wonder how she is doing. I am still praying for a good outcome for her.🤔🙏

I don't wish harm on anyone, and feel bad that the homeowner had no choice but to do so. Thank goodness he was not harmed in the process of defending himself, and his property!!😊
