My daughter filed her taxes electronically Monday evening.  She just got notification her return is pending in her checking account.

I am duly impressed.  I guess doing it early pays off.

@CrazyKittyLvr2If I had all my info, I'd definitely file immediately.  Not only do early electronic filers see their refunds quickly, they also prevent thieves from filing for those refunds!

Did mine a couple days ago.  Accepted same day.  Made $1000 less money and got half the refund of what I got last year.  I don't get it.  Fair warning to have the shot glasses, grief therapist, and tissues ready.

I always file the day I get my return and usually have a refund in my account in 10 days or less. They are very fast these days. It's great!

My story is similar to yours @Laura14 , but because of the tax breaks is what I am thinking. My paychecks the last couple years have definitely increased so I’m not complaining. I guess I’d rather see it monthly and know what I’m gonna get. Tax time is nice but I try not to have it spent before I file because I never know what I’ll get back. 🤪

@CrazyKittyLvr2 I did mine last Tuesday and when I checked this morning it said it would be deposited by February 5th. So convenient!

@wvumountiefan I wish I could say I've seen it in my paycheck because obviously that's where the change is but I don't and I was educated before the new math.  My state tax bill actually doubled this year too. I really don't get it other than I need to move which is a consideration.  Tell Meghan and Harry I do windows.
