It IS a compliment ... only the ignorant would think otherwise.   


It depends on the tone in which "woke" is used. It can be a compliment, but also used as an insult. Calling people ignorant who disagree with the meaning is arrogant. That remark is uncalled for.

What about forgiveness for unintentionally miss speaking? What about letting it go when those who prefer proper grammer to misuse of plural pronouns don't wish to use they where he/she belongs. A group can change the English language among themselves, but haven't the right to change it for the rest of us.

I think people with disabilities should be represented in fashion and everywhere else.
