So the only electronic devices you are allowed to touch are not in the kitchen?

I always came away with the thought that if you can read, you can cook.

Never walk away from garlic sauteing in olive oil is the one piece of advice I can give!

@JustJazzmom yes indeed!! That's great advice because I'm always told my food is very bland.  I stay away from salt, but I'm not creative enough to use the other spices to season my food. Now if we're talking about repairing something, I'm your man!

I enjoy cooking..I love spices, flavors, aromas, foods from 'round the world...

..just don't ask me to read a manual and put something together! 

True story:  years ago, my husband and I bought a new barbecue grill, I left the house while he was putting it together..came back in a few hours and it still wasn't done..turned right around and left for a few more hours.
