I feel your pain. We have a yorkie and we have to shovel a path for him so he can go potty. The snow in our backyard is chest deep! I'm not kidding. The piles are so high at the front of our home, I cannot see our front door from the road and our lot is relatively flat. We've been getting a ton of lake effect snow and it's never ending. I can't wait until Spring. It's going to be a long time before all of this melts. I bet we still have snow piles through April. There is no way this is going to go away soon. Ugh... Add 3 teenage drivers to the mix, yikes! I need a glass of wine{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Three teenage drivers ..... honey, you need a bottle of wine! {#emotions_dlg.w00t}{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

If it makes you feel better, a good part of the country will be hit by that same storm.

Re: Here we go again....................

Shorty . . . you might want to mention to your husband . . . in regards to the snowblower, lawn mower/tractor and weed eaters . . . it is best to buy good OLD gasoline without the ethanol IF you have a county coop or something nearby as the other stuff especially gums up small engines. This was told to me by one of the nuclear engineers at our last HOA meeting and I figure he knows much more about small engines than I do or that I ever want to know. We had bought a new generator for emergencies back in June for husbands Father's Day/Birthday gift and he gave this advice to us . . . so for what it is worth. While too late for this storm, plus it missed us by a couple of miles, but still schools are closed today, hit half missed half of the county . . . but plan to get a couple of 5 or 10 gallon containers and get stocked up on ethanol free gasoline for our various small engines.

I'd second the full bottle of wine with 3 teenage drivers and wintry roads~!

I feel for you all and just wish you could send some of your bounty West. We've had temps way above normal since January first, and virtually no moisture. It's supposed to be near 70 this week-end and that just not right for February. Trees are starting to bud, pollen count is up and I'm already sneezing.

I'm praying for everyone, everywhere, who will be having more storms, to be safe and warm.

I wish this all of this horrible weather would end, and soon.

Re: Here we go again....................

there are still so many people without power from the last snow...I hope they get it restored before getting hit again....we were lucky to not suffer any outage...hope that luck continues..

I wish all of you a safe time during this next storm....

We are supposed to get between 14-22 inches by me.We will see I am working from home. I feel bad for my DD who is in Banking and for who the heck knows why, they keep the banks open. I don't get it. They should just say state of emergency unless you are essential ie cops ect stay home. Bankers in the scheme of things not essential.

Don't you live in NJ?
