The snow in our backyard is chest deep! I'm not kidding. The piles are so high at the front of our home, I cannot see our front door from the road and our lot is relatively flat. We've been getting a ton of lake effect snow and it's never ending. I can't wait until Spring. It's going to be a long time before all of this melts. I bet we still have snow piles through April. There is no way this is going to go away soon. Ugh... Add 3 teenage drivers to the mix, yikes! I need a glass of wine
Three teenage drivers ..... honey, you need a bottle of wine!I'd second the full bottle of wine with 3 teenage drivers and wintry roads~!
With the winter we've had, I'll put it this way... I have the auto body repair guy on speed dial, and we know each other on a first name basis. After the 3rd crash, I'm not fixing anything until the snow is gone.
They weren't hurt in any crash, but one did happen on the highway.

Thanks for the replies. I know I am not alone and I pray all are safe during the storm. Thank you for the suggestion on the blower. He got regular gas before I read it, and did his thing earlier and it still doesn't work.
Well we have cash and I told DH if he sees one of our neighbors out snow blowing, just offer to pay them to snow blow if its too deep. Im sure they will as he used to snow blow people just because he liked to use it.
I SO regret not getting a generator. Our friends have one 2 towns over so IF we can get out a few days after I know we can shower there. But I am worried about being cold! Ugh, Im spoiled and not made for ruffing it. Haha.
Lastly- Im trying to talk DH into telling them tomorrow he wont be in Thursday. He never ever stays home for bad weather (only 1 time for ice). I pray he stays home but I doubt it.
Well anyway I hate living in the country so as it is, and being cooped up in the country is worse..lol. I lived in the city during the 36 inch storm in 93. At least we could walk to places!
Tomorrow night before the storm starts, he is taking me out (Italian food) to celebrate Valentines early so that will be nice and relaxing! :-)
