When someone mentioned angel figurines, I thought of Steven Lavaggi, who used to sell the angels with outstretched wings on QVC not long after 9/11.

I bought a dark brown eel skin credit card case from Lee Sands and it wore like iron. I would still be using it if I had not switched to a large Mjchael Kors wallet with many credit card slots.

I had an eel skin eyeglass case. I gave it away when I switched to smaller purses. I still have and wear a few of his jewelry pieces. He used interesting materials for his products.

Enjoy the Weekend!

Yes, Lee Sands, I had a few of his handbags and bought the angels. I have an angel in my bedroom watching over me.  I gave some of them away to friends and family.  One I gave to my friend who passed away and they put it in her coffin to be with her forever.

I always loved to see Lee on air.  I wonder what happened to him.

I remember watching his last show on QVC as I bought a pair of white mother-of-pearl earrings.  He said that he was closing the business and retiring because none of his kids were interested in taking over the business as they all had other careers.

I also enjoyed watching his shows as he was very pleasant and personable and offered very interesting and unusual items.

I always enjoyed Lee Sands so much, he was extremely professional and he sold wonderful products. I still have one of his credit card/coin purses that I still have in my purse to this day. I believe he is retired and living in Hawaii. I hope so anyway.

I can't remember the name of the vendor who was from Hawaii.  He brought men's wallets made of some unusual material (animal), jewelry shaped like animals and flowers inset with shell, and a very popular small opaline angel figure.  I bought several for myself and as gifts.  I remember his story about holding the angel in his hand during plane flights.  Can anyone help and tell me who he is?

I just looked on Ebay and there are a few hundred different pieces there.  Several times I almost bought that famous double kiss change purse, but never did.

I always needed a change purse with plenty of coins in my glove compartment for parking meters.

That was then .....  this is now.  Woman Happy
