You're welcome, @butterfly123! I'll keep an eye out for new ideas that work, too! I love learning new things! (By the way, if there's a name (or just a few) you use often, I can give you the HTML for their "@+name" to make into a Macro and you can call it up on any post. Just let me, or any other of our posters who use HTML, know if you want to try it out.) (((hugs)))❤️

Have you tried using another browser?

Mz iMac: Sorry to use you as a "test" but I've tried a few ways to type in a nic with a space. I just got it to work by typing it as written: with the space, as a space!
Not sure whether it works that way on every browser, but it works on mine (IE).

@tiny 2
First one was a direct reply/notification.
second one is a test — typed In the name and no underline and no blue font which probably means this poster will not get a notification
[ok, someone might explain what a notification is pertaining to this board for those who might want to know.]

Thank you
I only get it to work (the notification) when quoting the poster directly (iPad Pro).
Later, I will post a screenshot showing where someone can find their notifications. It seems to me that this forum has some who do not know how to find their notifications.

My iPad Air doesn’t allow the space between letters on nics for notifications to a poster. Are you using a laptop to post?
Thank you

@butterfly123- I am on a desktop (I also have a laptop). I'll have to see what happens when I try it on my iPad. I do know that it's not as easy (for me) to do anything on that!
I'll try it again tomorrow on the iPad to see if it works.
