I don't see what that has to do with social skills, though.

When we have family dinners it's agreed no 'devices' at the dinner table and the television is shut off.

Some at the dinner table have a difficult time holding a conversation while they go thru FB withdrawl for 45 minutes.

@Snowpuppy  LoL  I notice that when my sibling, niece and nephew come to visit.  It's hard to converse with them because the devices are being checked for updates, or Minecraft and other games are calling.

Good rule, I'm all for it 😀 Family time at the dinner table is sacrosanct here.    However, I have been there done that when our daughter was in school and there were meetings and clubs, etc.  It's a lot calmer now.

This is another 'lightness' I saw on my twitter feed.

The responses were very understanding..a comic relief to

all the damage. Humor gets many through dark times.

I laughed when I read it, just some humor to deal with the stress of the unknown that you can do nothing to stop.

Re: Help ! Our Kids Might Not Have Wi Fi

This is why I have a land line (with an old wall phone for back up instead of the hand held house phones!) Cellphones are undependable, and I had cable phone service and went back to Verizon regular house phone b.c when the electric goes out here cable phone didnt work like the regular Verizon land lines. As far kids well they can find things to do like games, cards, etc. But I want a real phone in case of emergencies in storms. We lose power here a lot in thundrestorms (even though we have undeground wiring!)

Good grief, it's joke.  And a funny one.  You have to have kids to get it.
