@AnikaBrodie wrote:I would suggest that you check amazondotcom for tea bags and loose tea in a variety of samplers. I just got the White Ginger Pear tea which is excellent. I also like the Ginger Lemon tea among many others including Mint and Chai, etc. "A" has pages and pages of brand name teas that are available as samplers in both tea bags and loose tea. A sampler is a great place to start to determine which flavors you like best. Happy shopping!
@AnikaBrodie I’m not completely unfamiliar with tea. I’m not looking for bagged tea as I can sample that almost anywhere. I’m looking for something a little scarcer than than what the huge commercial websites offer. Not $10/cup tea but not 25 cents a cup either.
This won’t be me no longer drinking coffee, or drinking multiple cups of tea every day, but for an occasional anytime different kind of pick-me-up. To be honest, the last thing I want to do is search alphabetically through pages and pages of teas by name and needing to research them all to wonder if I might like one.
I thank you for responding. I have moved away from all the shops selling specialty teas so I can’t get tastings like I
once might have, and I’m definitely going for samples. Looking for what I haven’t tried before, and new versions of old favorites. Thanks again.

I highly recommend Harney & Sons Hot Cinammon Sunset/Hot Cinammon Spice. It's a black tea with cinammon, orange peel and sweet cloves and it is fabulous. It smells wonderful and has a bit of spiciness and a bit of sweetness (there's no sugar added).
You can sometimes find the sachets at the supermarket but I've only been able to find the loose leaf online. They have a ton of teas and you can buy a sample of a lot of the loose ones for $2.

Try Republic of Tea. Love their cinnamon crews. Especially last summer over ice

@lkat, that sounds like one I would definitely like :-)

I just got into using Yogi teas. The tea bags have inspirational mantras (sayings) on the tags, and they have all kinds of teas. If you look on their web page you can find out where they sell them.

I can’t live without my Harney and sons Hot Cinnamon Sunset which I always have to be stocked up on because it is the best tea I’ve ever tasted. 2 nd favorite is Paris. Third fav is Chocolate mint which tastes like a Girl Scout thin mint.
And did you know, they don’t charge shipping?
I highly recommend you give Harney and sons a try. They have samples too.

Another vote for Harney & Sons. In fact, I'm sitting here with a mug of their Victorian London Fog (black tea, oolong tea, bergamot oil, lavender, vanilla flavor).
Like others here, my favorite is still Paris (black tea, oolong tea, black currant flavor, vanilla flavor, bergamot oil, caramel flavor).
So it is unfortunate that I can't recommend these. Why? Bergamot. It might be why you dislike Earl Grey. (H&S makes a fabulous Earl Grey Supreme.)
But their Hot Cinnamon Spice is legendary. ![]()
Our most popular flavored tea worldwide, Hot Cinnamon Spice is an assertive blend of black teas, three types of cinnamon, orange peel, and sweet cloves.
The company recently started a rewards program -- you earn points with every purchase. They offer loose tea, bags and sachets.
They also have a few flavored green teas that are tasty and I'm starting to develop a fondness for their Lemon Herbal and Egyptian Chamomile. This isn't a flavorless chamomile.
Another option:
New Mexico Tea Company. Some really lovely selections there.
Check out these websites and tell us what you think. I gave up coffee a few years ago and switched to tea and I have no regrets. ![]()

I like a full bodied black tea. There used to be a Scottish tea shop in Seattle where I discovered Brodies Famous Edinburgh tea. It was expensive there, but I think you can get it online cheaper at Teadog.com.

@Moonchilde You should get a hold of some British tea. You will certainly be on a caffeine high. I like Twinings teas.
