Just wanted to add my wonderful, loving Dad passed away in June also 28 years ago we buried him on Saturday and Sunday was Father's Day we put all his Father's Day cards in his casket with the gifts we had for him. Father Day is never the same since we always made that day and Mothers Day special for our mom and dad.

(((((Cater))))) hugs to you... it doesn't matter how many days go by, it still hurts. Like I mentioned... May has been horrible for me.. both of my parent's birthdays, plus Mother's Day. Now June will be their wedding anniversary, Father's Day and my birthday which sometimes fell on father's day. There are always going to be days that are reminders and especially difficult for us when we lose people we love. I am trying very hard to dig deep, spiritually.... and find a way to embrace and honor those days, rather than allow myself to be overwhelmed with the loss. I know my parents would want me to be strong, and so I need to make them proud. While I for sure have my bad days... staying in bed in a fetal position, drowning in a puddle of snot and tears is not the way to honor them. I have plenty of weak days, but I am trying to get stronger.

Just wanted to say hello to cater! It sounds like June will be a very down month for many of us.

Jules, I see some posts are now gone and they should be. I'm hoping that Mistri checks in and sees the thread for her. Mistri, we miss you!

Yes, I agree and glad they are gone... so awful. Hopefully she didn't see any of that nonsense. I hope she checks in soon.

I am so glad to see those nasty comments gone. Yes June is a bad month for me I have lost more aunts, uncles, friends in the month of June and the oddest fact is they have all passed away on or around the same day as my Dad. Not the same year but the date.

I'm so sorry Cater... strange how that happens sometimes. My mom died on Valentine's Day and it just seems to strange to me. My dad told me that it was because he loved her so much, but I think he was just trying to comfort me and stay strong in our loss. It is weird when you lose people all around a certain time. My aunt (my dad's older sister) died only about 3 weeks before he did. At that point, my dad was suffering from lots of confusion... but I tried to find a day when he had some clarity to let him know... and he was glad her suffering was over, since she had full blown Alzheimer's. It seems weird to me that she died... and then her little brother (my dad) died so soon after. I hope they are all happy and enjoying time together now. I miss them all, so much.

Hey Jules, hope you're feeling better after last night's debacle. I just don't understand it.

It's a brand new sunshiney day! Hope you and Mia are enjoying it!

Hi birddrops, hun.... yes it is a beautiful day... blue skies, fluffy clouds, birds are singing. We still might get some more rain today, that it is much needed and will be good. Mia is awesome, being a good and curious little girl.

I don't understand the need for the nonsense either, but glad most of the remnants were swept away. I hope when Mistri does check in, she doesn't need to concern herself with mean people. Hope you have a blessed day!!!

Just stopped by for a break (we're painting the whole inside of our new house, ugh). The "institution white" needed to go and add some pastel and warm colors. Anyhow, I wanted to check the Mistri thread and hope she stops by soon to post.

Sounds like your precious Mia is keeping you busy and that sure can be a good thing for you. We've had a beautiful and sunny day here, but now it's really storming and the lightning and thunder is nasty. Hmmmmm, may have to have a break and have some popcorn. Ok, I've been too wordy (as usual), so I'll check back later.
