Bill Clinton, Oprah and the First Lady have all shared their memories. What a wonderful tribute to this woman. The speakers have been terrific.

Bill Clinton said he saw Angelou at a function not too long ago and told her he was surprised to see her there. Her reply? "Just because I'm wheelchair bound, doesn't mean I don't get around!"

I think it really hit me today just how much of an influence she had on so many people. All the students she befriended and mentored. She held some of her college classes at her home. Can you imagine being in that class?

I often wonder how it is that some people reach her point of evolvement.

What a wonderful experience for those students who were able to have her for a teacher.
