It was Stars Deli where I used to eat, not the Stage Deli (although I ate there a few times).

 

But Stars Deli (52nd and Lexington Ave) had THE BEST pastrami sandiwich in New York.  It's no longer there, but I remember it fondly.  The Pastrami on rye with cole slaw and a Dr. Brown's cream soda was my favorite Friday lunch!!
