@catwhisperer  It is more humid than normal here today which is why my house isn't cooler.  Yesterday humidity was 9%.

Pretty hot here too in Nebraska. Been at or over 100° here for over a week. Right now the temp in our patio room is 99°, because I do not turn the AC on unless my wife wants to be in the room.

We have a portable AC in her master bedroom, she sleeps in a bed, I have slept in a lounge chair for over 25 years. She keeps her room at whatever temp she is comfortable. Our whole home AC has not been for many years now.

My body got pretty acclimated to hear the 30 years I worked in a factory that was well over 110°, and that was in the coolest spot.

I just keep our ceiling fan on high and I do just fine.

@Kachina624....wow, 9% is really low.

I promise to remind myself every day that I am strong, courageous, and resilient.

118 today in Palm Springs area and heating up to 122 tomorrow.

We're staying in and I have all the plantation shutters to try to keep some heat out.  A/C running full-blast; sounds so good to be in cool mountains somewhere!

I am not a fan of summer. Humidity here is awful.

Wishing everyone suffering with the relentless heat wave  relief soon. How awful!   That is just too hot.

I've seen it as low as 0%, but usually it's 6-7% this time of year.  The monsoon season will soon start and hopefully we'll get some rain.  It's been several months since it rained at my house.  We're in the desert of course.
