Watch out for brown-outs as the government starts moving electricity around. Any time it gets that hot in our area, the government decides they need to move power around (for what reason, I don't know) and then we get brown-outs.  It is so annoying.

Thanks.  DH and I have had plans for months to go away for a couple of days. We have concert tix for Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.  My main concern is the house staying cool enough for the cat and the same for the kennel where we board our dog. The dogs usually have access to outdoors from their kennel but I prefer he stay inside  unless it's potty time.

You folks don't know heat.  I'll take the 105- where I live it can get to 122 in the summer. Our "heat advisory" should go from May 15 to October 31st!!!!  Not just for a few days.

Needless to say, indoor activities are must, slong with a fabulous working air conditioner.  Even the pools here have to have pool chillers put in.  Wataer temp can go to 97 in the pool.  Like swimming in soup.......

@SharkE    Just be glad you don't live along the Texas Gulf Coast, like  around Houston.  Miserable place.
