Since it's Sunday, it must be the deer congregation attending church services.  They are praying for more carrots, I'm sure.  Now Willow is sleeping through the sermon, just like a lot of humans I know!

Relaxation and good meals at the Wick Haven, it's a delightful scene!!!!!  Some deer are standing, others laying lazily in the grass.  When at the Wick Haven, the bucks and does know they are safe and are welcome to gather.  Their walk to the Wick's must always be filled with peace and of course thoughts of carrots!!!!

Miss Willow White also at rest in dreamland, wrapped in her royal blanket!!  The day starts off with warmth and goodness and that is a good start for all.

The deer are smart to be spending some time resting in the shade. I imagine they're conserving some energy dealing with higher temps.

I feel bad for the wildlife during our record breaking heat. I have four birdbaths, but I'm having to fill them 2-3 times a day.

@MamaWick   It's Sunday and the place to be is at the Wick's Deer Resort!  Plenty of shade, cool water, treats and love.  What could be better!  Nothing, but perhaps being invited inside for some a/c and cuddles.  😁

Woofs to Miss Willow White looking so beautiful and comfortable in MamaWick's hands.   A Sunday snooze is the best dreaming of the goodies to come.  🥰

@MamaWick , I hope your foot is not giving you too much discomfort.  some Willow puppy kisses should help.

So hopeful. It is really a scene out of a Disney movie. You must never get tired of this thrilling scene @MamaWick!. Your yard filled with all these incredible beautiful deer and how trusting they are. They love you.

I know I am not the only one who looks forward to seeing them every day too. I also enjoy reading the comments so much.💗
