Back in about 2007, one of my co-workers won a huge motorhome camper!  She had been entering contests and raffles for 30 years, and she finally won!   She had to pay a lot of taxes on the motorhome, can't recall how much.  But she and her family used it for vacations for 5 or 6 years, got tired of it, and sold it!

The most I personally won was on a slot machine in Biloxi, MS  in about 2003.  Won about $800, which was a lot to me!!

That is just the most exciting news. Congratulations!!!

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@lulu1, Fabulous!

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

@lulu1- how exciting!!! Are you going to keep it or sell it? I hear a lot of people that win high-end prizes sell them because the taxes you have to pay on them can be extraordinarily high.

Whatever you do, enjoy!!!!

Reminds me of when Oprah would give away all those cars and the people griped about having to pay some kind of tax on them and couldn't afford it.

I thought she would pay the gift tax, whatever it was called, but, don't guess she did feel like it was her job
