Congratulations!   That is wonderful....enjoy.

I have two sisters who are always winning something.  My older sister won a car years ago...it was her first car.

My HS sold chances for a beautiful blue barracuda during my senior year.  I was so positive that I was going to win it that I could taste it.

They chose the winner during half time at a football game.  When they called my name I almost passed out.  It took a while for me to realize that I had sold the winning ticket and didn't win anything. The winner was a man who didn't drive.  I thought he would give me the car...he didn't . He gave the car to his niece.

I can only imagine how excited you and your DH are.

Please know I am not bragging.  We've never won more than a few dollars in anything.

My husband won a convertible.  It was a charity raffle where a limited number of (expensive) chances were sold.  I cannot tell you how many times (at least once a year for MANY years) he's entered this kind of raffle before but finally, HE WON.

CONGRATS!!

Safe driving and health to use it.

What color, @lulu1 ? I want to be sure to wave to him when he passes my house. Smiley Wink Smiley Happy

Congratulations !

We have bought an expensive ticket for a Mercedes for many, many years for a non-profit charity event.  We have never won; however, several friends and acquaintances have.  One friend funded his son’s college education instead of taking the car.  Another year saw a manager win and the following year his wife won and took the lease.

Much to do over the last item:  the Director said she bought a ticket and was entitled to be in the drawing just like everyone else !

Still buying a ticket every year because I know the wonderful work that is done by this group.  Great to know the folks who win also !

We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.
