kind of yes-- not dreaming, but thinking and distracted by thoughts more likely for me.

yes, often i would be spending my time while driving to work thinking about my day at work. i sometimes think we drive on auto pilot. I often would get to work or home and not really remember the drive - it is scary. I am so glad I'm retired and no longer under that stress.

Or you notice a certain car is in front of you and a little while later it's not...and you have no idea when or where it went.

Yes, that's happened to me, too. Usually it's a place I've been to often, like the supermarket, Costco, etc. I guess subconsciously I know how to get there and my brain goes on auto pilot while I'm actively thinking about something else.

Sorry to say Yes!! It's scary to think that we get so distracted!

It's happened to me also. It's very disconcerting.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
