Kinda scary Occasional Rain. I remember that Uni-Bomber sending packages to his victims and who is to say that a stalker isn't far from doing such a thing. I have stayed with this thread as the who subject matter needs to be more strongly understood. From one who went through Hades and back for years.

By just a few old boyfriends' previous girlfriends..........Many years ago, in my 18's, 19's, 20's. In all cases, I just 'walked away', as I knew there wouldn't be a good future in store for me, with a stalking-type of previous girlfriend(s) lurking around in the background. Nothing a couple can do when a previous girlfriend is intently following/spying/etc. Sort of like the character 'Rose' on Two and a Half Men! She is always there, no matter what.

They were all nice gifts but it was sort of unnerving. I kept looking at people for something, a sign?, that they were the one but I never even came up with any suspects. It was years ago but I'd still like to know who it was, why they started and why they stopped.

Yes! I was stalked for two years...the guy was nice enough but it was kind of creepy. Every time I changed jobs, he would just show up...I never told anyone where I was going so I couldn't figure it out for the longest time.

I finally got rid of him... he stopped stalking me on our wedding day . Yep he was a persistent one and wore me down LOL.

You may not want to find out and then have things start up again.

DD was stalked. He broke in. Stole all of her clothes. Did this multiple times, then started escalating with threatening phone calls. Eventually caught by police. Now doing 25 yrs without possibility of parole. Thank God. (Very involved case.)

Sorry SFNative - Seems we don't get to feel comfortable living out our lives when those idiots show up. They have more freedoms, rights, and liberties than those they harass and stalk. Seems they always have to take something of yours too as if they possess you with that object. Some try to get to know your friends and acquaintances along with relatives to try to get to you. Very sick and disturbed people out there.
