Re: Have you bought anything from Temu?

@BalletBabe I am one who has never ever put any financial info on my phone and I don't do any kind of bill paying, etc, with my phone and never will.

I do all my bill paying and banking online.

In this day and age, do not buy from any retailer that has not been in business a long time and is an established and responsible company.

DO NOT open or buy from an internet source you do not know.  They don't have anything you have to have.  And chances are good you'll get more trouble than you bargained for.

@Sooner How do they become an established company that people find responsible if no one ever shops there?

My brother in law purchased a few things from them - then his credit card was compromised...who knows - but he doesn't purchase from Temu anymore.

Re: Have you bought anything from Temu?

I agree 100 percent. If you look on Amazon, Walmart, Ebay, Etsy and probably more stores carry the EXACT same thing for tons more money. I have been pretty happy with most of my purchases. They have a great FREE return policy. Unless you check every single item for made in the U.S.A ur buying items made in China. Things on the Q have been made in China. It's a fact of life anymore. In this economy if you can save some money then you should. I'm serious check and comparison shop the items and prices at other retailers! Plus let's get real our personal information has been hacked numerous times from Doctor offices, Comcast and more so your info is out there for all to see!

Re: Have you bought anything from Temu?

@monicakm  My daughter has...more specifically SHEIN as she does not pay a lot for the kids clothes (12, 2 and 4) because they first...outgrow it so fast and two, the boys (little guys) just are so rough and tough they play hard in their clothes, and she knows if she brought expensive kid's stuff, it would be a waste.

My 28 yo does order from Temu...he had on a pair of those silky lounge pants that were really nice!  He's  6'3" and they were nice and long. I love those kind of pants and wear them with tank tops all summer long...even to work.  While both have had their cards hacked, as have we, I think that can happen no matter where you shop.  The thieves are international crooks.

@Love my grandkids   I never do either, but I know many that do.

Re: Have you bought anything from Temu?

I've used Shein multiple times but not Temu. No problems.

But my worst credit card situation happened when the long established furnace filter factory in Alabama I bought my filters from got hacked, and my info was sold on the dark web to an illegal cable TV bill payer in NY state. No involvement with China whatsoever.

I didn't lose any money, but this continued for 18 MONTHS! because cable companies have the right to use push technology to "push through" to new card numbers. I thought it would never end.

Yes, banks charge interest rates equivalent to what neighborhood loan sharks used to demand, but imagine what it costs them to deal with fraud.

No, I have not.  I don't need another online shopping site.

My debit card is a Master Card. They have always stood up for me with any problems.

@Judaline  @Boehm Collector.  I use a Visa debit card issued by my bank for all my purchases everywhere.  It has the same protection as my credit cards.  I'VE used it for years and have never had a problem.
